The Royal Room Cabaret

The Colony Hotel - which The Palm Beach Post has hailed as “probably the best place for cabaret on the planet” – plans another star-studded season at the hotel’s celebrated Royal Room, featuring some really hot headliners straight from Broadway and the most sophisticated nightspots in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Manhattan.

Celebrated for presenting “immaculately staged cabaret performances” by well known Grammy- and Tony-winning stars (Condé Nast Traveler, February 2011), The Colony Hotel’s Royal Room is widely considered to be one of the top cabaret venues in the world.

“Our 2011-2012 season promises to be bigger and better than ever,” said Roger Everingham, Vice President & General Manager of Palm Beach’s favorite boutique hotel.

“Many of our Royal Room favorites are returning including two different Marilyns (Maye and McCoo) and two different Callaways (Ann Hampton and Liz), plus Mary Wilson, Barbara Carroll & Jay Leonhart, Baby Jane Dexter, The Four Freshmen, Nicole Henry, Steve Ross, Avery Sommers and KT Sullivan, ” added Mr. Everingham. “I’m also proud to announce some spectacular first-timers, including Broadway legends Chita Rivera, Melba Moore and Paul Szot, along with young Aaron Weinstein, the funniest violinist since Jack Benny.”

“Of course, the incredible music at The Colony isn’t limited to our fabulous Royal Room,” said Rob Russell, the hotel’s Director of Entertainment. “The hotel’s excellent Polo Steaks & Seafood continues to present the popular Motown Friday Nights every week with the multi-talented R&B band Memory Lane, plus our weekly Cast Party on Saturday nights always attracts a star-packed crowd.”
