Has The Colony been renovated?
The Colony has completed a $12 million renewal with our most recent renovation occuring in our Presidential and Duke of Windsor Penthouses. In additional, we are continually refurbishing our accommodations. For example, we are installing Flat Screen TV’s in all of rooms [this project should be complete in the Fall ‘07].
What is the building across the street from The Colony?
This is Casa Manana which was built in 1928 for the Waller family. The Colony purchased it and turned it into seven two-bedroom villas.

The Colony is located adjacent to world famous Worth Avenue in the center of the Town of Palm Beach and a football field length from the city’s best beach.
What is the closest airport to the hotel? How far is it from The Colony?
The Colony is only 3.8 miles from West Palm Beach International airport [PBI]. Fort Lauderdale Int’l Airport is 45 miles from The Colony and Miami Int’l is 60 miles.
What does it cost to take a taxi from the Palm Beach International Airport to the hotel?
Approximately $16 - $20.
Does the hotel have transportation to pick me up?
No, you need to arrange your own transportation.
Is there parking available for overnight guests?
Parking for hotel guests is available in a private lot owned by The Colony Hotel. The charge for parking is $15.00 per day, per vehicle.
What are the hours of check-in and check-out?
Check-in time at The Colony Hotel is after 4:00 pm. Checkout time is 12:00 noon.

What Entertainment options are available at the hotel?
The Royal Room Cabaret Club said to be perhaps the Best Cabaret in the entire country brings top performers every week to Palm Beach. Enjoy dinner in this intimate setting followed by a superb cabaret performance. The Royal Room celebrates its 6th year in 2007. The Colony has two pools: one for the main hotel guests and one for our villa guests.
Do you provide chairs for lounging around the pool?
Pool lounges are complimentary for hotel guests. Towels are provided. We also provide towels for beach use. Our Bellman can provide beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach.
Do you have DVD’s or VCR’s in the rooms? Do you have in room movies?
The villas, suites and penthouses have DVD players. The Colony has cable television which features HBO.
Do you have internet connections in the guest rooms?
Complimentary wireless high speed internet is offered to all guests. In addition, data ports are installed on all telephones.
Do you have a Business Center?
Our Business Center is located above the Front Desk on the Mezzanine Floor.
How do I get a fax sent to a guest staying at the hotel? Is there a charge for this?
Guest faxes should be sent to the front desk at 561-655-5430. The charge for faxes is $1.00 per page received. The charge for sending faxes within the U.S. is $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. Rates are higher to send International faxes.
Is there 24 hour room service?
Room Service operates the same hours as the Polo Restaurant.
Are there mini-bars in the rooms?
No.
